1. Delivery Method:

   • Products are delivered either in a shipping container or are self-enclosed and will require lifting via a crane for unloading.

   • MODPADZ does not provide crane services but can do logistics for you.
     

2. Customer Responsibility:

   • Customers are responsible for unloading items upon delivery.

   • Customers must arrange for a crane to hoist the item to the desired location.

   • Customers are responsible for water, sewage, and electrical hookups according to local regulations.

   • Please ensure you have a suitable location for the placement of these products.
     

3. Local Bylaws and Regulations:

   • Customers are responsible for consulting with local bylaws and regulations to ensure that the product is allowed on the property.

   • Some cases of Homeowners Association (HOA) may require pre-approvals for installation.

   • Please note that this policy is not all-inclusive for worldwide regulations. Some countries and states may pose additional policies that are not included here. We will do our best to convey those if they become necessary, and extra time or charges may be needed to deliver the products.
     

4. Shipping Costs:

   • See Shipping Clause. If Customers require special deliveries, or want Modpadz to arrange for crane, we can offer those services as well for a fee.

   • Additional fees may apply for special delivery requirements for some countries. Please send us a note so we can advise accordingly.
     

5. Delivery Times:

   • Delivery times may vary depending on location and availability.

   • We are not responsible for shipping lanes and hence can only estimate delivery times.

   • Customers will be provided with an estimated delivery time frame upon order confirmation.
     

6. Refunds:

   • Absolutely No refunds are available for items due to their nature. Modpadz Creates all units custom according to customers' specifications and requirements. Which means, that unit is made solely for a particular customer.
     Also, Modpadz invest significant portion of funds in creating and shipping the units, hence, those costs are non-recoverable.

     
     

7. Shipping Restrictions:

   • Some locations may have restrictions or limitations on delivery services.

   • Customers are responsible for ensuring compliance with local regulations and restrictions.
     

Additional Terms and Conditions:

1. Import Taxes and Duties: Please be aware that some countries may impose additional import taxes, customs duties, or fees on imported goods. These charges are not included in the product price or shipping cost and are the sole responsibility of the customer. It is recommended to check with your local customs office for information on potential charges before placing an order.

2. Unloading and Handling Charges: Customers are responsible for unloading the product upon delivery. If additional time or special arrangements are required for unloading due to specific site conditions, such as the need for a crane or extended unloading time, additional charges may apply. These charges must be communicated by the customer before taking delivery and are the customer's responsibility.

3. Delivery Time frames: While we strive to deliver orders within the estimated time frame, unforeseen circumstances such as customs clearance delays or transportation issues may impact delivery schedules. We will make every effort to keep you informed of any delays and work towards resolving them promptly.

4. Import Duty On Arrival: In Most cases, Modpadz covers import duty costs, However, if a customer has their own HST code and prefers to pay their own duty on import, we can reimburse the customer afterward. To be eligible for reimbursement, customers must provide us with the invoice paid to customs.

5. Import Duty Fluctuations: It's important to note that Modpadz does not control import duty rates. Duties can increase without notice, which may affect the final price of the product. Any changes in import duty rates will be conveyed to the customer.

Deposit and Refund Policy Clause

1. Non-Refundable Deposit:
   Once an order has been placed and production has begun, the deposit is strictly non-refundable. In most cases, a 50% deposit is required to initiate the order and begin production of the units.

2. Responsibility of Modpadz:
   Upon receiving the deposit, Modpadz assumes full responsibility and risk for completing the project, utilizing its own funds, labor, and materials. This commitment ensures that the project is finished to the agreed-upon specifications and within the designated timeline.

3. No Refunds Under Any Circumstances:
   Due to the significant resources and commitment required to fulfill each order, Modpadz cannot offer refunds on deposits under any circumstances.

4. Customer Responsibility:
   Modpadz holds itself accountable to complete the project as promised and trusts that customers will fulfill their responsibility by paying the remaining balance before the units are shipped.
