Delivery Method:
Products are delivered either in a shipping container or are self-enclosed and will require lifting via a crane for unloading.
MODPADZ does not provide crane services but can do logistics for you.
Customer Responsibility:
Customers are responsible for unloading items upon delivery.
Customers must arrange for a crane to hoist the item to the desired location.
Customers are responsible for water, sewage, and electrical hookups according to local regulations.
Please ensure you have a suitable location for the placement of these products.
Local Bylaws and Regulations:
Customers are responsible for consulting with local bylaws and regulations to ensure that the product is allowed on the property.
Some cases of Homeowners Association (HOA) may require pre-approvals for installation.
Please note that this policy is not all-inclusive for worldwide regulations. Some countries and states may pose additional policies that are not included here. We will do our best to convey those if they become necessary, and extra time or charges may be needed to deliver the products.
Shipping Costs:
Shipping costs is included in the price. If Customers require special deliveries, or want Modpadz to arrange for crane, we can offer those services as well for a fee.
Additional fees may apply for special delivery requirements for some countries. Please send us a note so we can advise accordingly.
Delivery Times:
Delivery times may vary depending on location and availability.
We are not responsible for shipping lanes and hence can only estimate delivery times.
Customers will be provided with an estimated delivery timeframe upon order confirmation.
Refunds:
No refunds are available for large items due to their nature.
In extraordinary circumstances where a return of the product is required for shipping container transport, a fee of $6500 per item will be charged.
Shipping Restrictions:
Some locations may have restrictions or limitations on delivery services.
Customers are responsible for ensuring compliance with local regulations and restrictions.
Special Rebate:
If a customer has means to receive the shipment at port, a special rebate can be provided to the customer to save costs.
Additional Terms and Conditions:
Import Taxes and Duties: Please be aware that some countries may impose additional import taxes, customs duties, or fees on imported goods. These charges are not included in the product price or shipping cost and are the sole responsibility of the customer. It is recommended to check with your local customs office for information on potential charges before placing an order.
Unloading and Handling Charges: Customers are responsible for unloading the product upon delivery. If additional time or special arrangements are required for unloading due to specific site conditions, such as the need for a crane or extended unloading time, additional charges may apply. These charges must be communicated by the customer before taking delivery and are the customer's responsibility.
Delivery Time frames: While we strive to deliver orders within the estimated timeframe, unforeseen circumstances such as customs clearance delays or transportation issues may impact delivery schedules. We will make every effort to keep you informed of any delays and work towards resolving them promptly.
Import Duty On Arrival: Modpadz covers import duty costs, which average around 28%. However, if a customer has their own HST code and prefers to pay their own duty on import, we can reimburse the customer afterward. To be eligible for reimbursement, customers must provide us with the invoice paid to customs.
Import Duty Fluctuations: It's important to note that Modpadz does not control import duty rates. Duties can increase without notice, which may affect the final price of the product. Any changes in import duty rates will be conveyed to the customer.
Responsibility for Shortages: Customers are responsible for covering any shortages that occur during shipping. We ensure that products are packaged securely and shipped with care, but in the rare event of a shortage, it is the customer's responsibility to address the issue.
