NICK KHAN

TINY STRUCTURE GUY

Nick, the founder of Modpadz, brings over a decade of real estate experience to the table. As an ex-Air Force pilot turned entrepreneur, with 16 years in the high-tech industry as an architect, his passion for creating solutions drives Modpadz forward.

Nick is not just a serial entrepreneur; he's also a dedicated mentor, guiding aspiring business leaders on their path to success. Nick's vision and expertise shape each tiny structure with innovation and flair, leading Modpadz into new frontiers of compact living. ModPadz is a portmanteau of "modern pads" and "modular pads," encapsulating the essence of contemporary living spaces that are both stylish and adaptable.

Nick founded ModPadz out of frustration with the traditional housing construction process, which he found to be tedious, time-consuming, and financially draining. He envisioned a more efficient and cost-effective way to build homes, leading him to develop modern, modular living spaces with ModPadz.

TOM BROWN

REI GUY

Tom focuses on buying and holding real estate. His first investment property was purchased in Laguna Hills, California in 2002. With additional California properties in the portfolio Thomas was able to leverage growth in California and by 2007 he sold a San Jose property and used a 1031 Exchange to acquire several properties in Tennessee. Now in 2024 Thomas has properties in California, Tennessee, Alabama, and Florida with another investment property in Toronto, Canada.

Tom saw an opportunity to diversify his investment portfolio while aligning with a company that shares his values of innovation, quality, and sustainability. Joining Modpadz allowed Tom to leverage his expertise in real estate to contribute to the development of cutting-edge housing solutions that meet the evolving needs of homeowners and investors alike.

As a driven college student pursuing her degree in architecture at UTA, Sofia seamlessly blends her passion for design with her expertise in marketing and e-commerce.
